Development Breadboard

I used a RadioShack experimenter socket (RS#276-175) and a few spare parts. In the picture below, the 2nd plate from the left had been removed to show the wires.

The parts needed should be pretty easy to determine. The electric connection comes from a short wire that I cut in half. The plastic of the breadboard had been trimmed to fit securely. I also cut recesses for running the two wires from the electrical connection to solder to the X and Y rails.

No diodes are used so that it could be used on any port. However, be careful when wiring a circuit of your own. (I added two 1x2 red and black beams to denote polarity.) The X and Y rails run the full width of the board, but can be cut at various points if desired by removing the sticker and locating the proper junction.

To keep the board everything together, I used liquid model cement. A picture of the specific glue is here. It is Plastruct Plastic Weld general purpose plastic solvent cement.
